Corona tests for all PASS employees starting next week

Since 13 April 2021 it is official: All German companies will be obliged to offer Corona tests once a week for all employees who do not work in home office, even through it‘s on a voluntary basis for employees.

Of course, the protection of our employees is also close to our hearts and has top priority. That is why we have taken all possible measures since the beginning of the pandemic spread, often long before the government guidelines came into force.
In addition to disinfectant dispensers throughout the company building, our own hand dispensers for individual employee workplaces and FFP2 masks, we have been in possession of rapid tests since they were approved and test employees for any asymptomatic and symptomatic signs. Of course, we also dispense with customer and supplier appointments as far as possible and have changed our shift system in production to bring together as few employees as possible from different departments. Furthermore, the "home office" offer is of course also valid for all office employees.

Preparations for regular Covid-19 antigen self-tests running and were already initiated before today's decision by the federal government. Starting next week, all PASS employees will daily have the opportunity to undergo a certified rapid test (2 tests per employee per week are available) under supervision. The tests have been approved by the Federal Institute for Drugs and Medical Devices and may therefore be carried out by any employee under the guidance of a PASS staff employee (so-called "nasal swab"). After the specified waiting time, the test is immediately evaluated and certified. In case of a positive result, the affected employee will be sent home immediately and required to undergo a PCR test for verification at the health department.

We are confident that we will be able to break possible chains of infection in the company with the rapid tests and thus ensure the highest possible level of health protection for our employees. We would like to take this opportunity to thank the entire PASS team once again for their reliable compliance with all the measures taken and for their special cohesion and protection of the staff during this time.
